 There are various types of subjects that one finds funny. Based on that, many people focus on a certain kind or practice of laughter. The reason behind someone cracking up on any subject tells more about their personalities than how they laugh at it. 

The ‘What’ of the subject and the ‘How’ of the laughter reveals a lot about people’s personalities. For the concern of how various types of laughter highlight many characteristics of someone, here is a list of many laughing styles. 

1.The Loud Guffaw 

The laughter in which one gets a full garrote of belly laugh shows that the person is quite fun. Since the guffaw laugh is more like a sudden gust of emotions, the person has to be secure with the company to do so. 

2. The Snicker Laugh

The snicker often highlights the mischievous and witty nature of those practicing it. Such people tend to find funny and humorous things in everyday life. They tend to enjoy the inadvertent wit in most mundane life routines that they laugh at.

3. Silent Laugh

Such people generally try to not get in the light of attraction by laughing at things which they find funny. They are often the shy type who laughs but in low sound, mostly in silence.

The Antioch Sense of Humor Inventory is an assessment done by a Californian team of psychologists on how humor identification reveals a lot about the characteristics of the person. They say that it might sound irrational as at times as the description of the characteristics of particular laughter may not match the person’s traits but the studies mostly proved to be apt.
