The following three things are recommended to reduce stress and bad mood.

1. Understand the nature of your feelings

Defining certain emotions reduces their ability to preoccupy us. Thus, only when we understand and acknowledge how we feel will we succeed in overcoming negative emotions and their harmful effects.

2. Control them

American neurobiologist Alex Korb claims that man’s biggest enemy is his brain. Every emotion is activated in a certain part of our brain. Pleasure is perhaps the strongest of them, much stronger than the sense of shame, pride and guilt.
